You can try JL Sim Lim at 3 Maju Avenue (Serangoon Garden) Tel: 62826180 Ctc: HK Lim. I did mine there. Price reasonable and Mr Lim is a nice man. [;)]

I did mine (2 sensors) at Autotrend Toa Payoh for $100 2 years back. Just the normal beep beep kind, no display or anything.

there are so many car accessories shops selling reverse sensor, just drive around and check out the pricing.

i think the price is relatively quite standard one.

it comes with two/four/six/etc sensors.

a normal two sensors cost less than S$100.

if you kiasi, install the four or six sensors (all rounders detector).

there is also those reverse sensors that comes with meter which currently Lancer EX, Forte comes with it.

another one is rear camera.

my ride got but i don't really recommend it cos it is not so useful.

$100 can get those 4 sensors type in many car workshop or hifi shop.

No need to cracked your head over the brand and pricing.

Most are china made and can last till you sell the car away.

Just get the normal drilled hole type.

Everyone is doing it.

No need to drill hole type? Not popular and surely will be expensive.

Look at all the conti cars.....they are using those drill hole type of sensors(of course its incorporated into the bumpers swee swee from factory).

No need to worry lah....$100 only....cheap cheap...can change if spoilt.

In my experience, the type that doesn't require drilling is less accurate than the normal drilled-type. But my experience is a few years old - the tech may have improved now.

My 2 sensor type.

BUT.. when you reserve into a streetlight or narrow tree, somewhere between the 2 sensors, they cannot detact it. So I waited until kenah bang sound.

So I would advise minumum 3 sensors. Beeper is good enough.

Notwithstanding the sensors, sometime the best gauge/judgement comes from the human eye. Check your mirrors (rear view and side mirrors) to decide and pace your turning/reversing. Cannot trust too much on these electronic stuff.

This will build up your skills and capability with confidence along the way.
