Car mat gripper strips

my car mats are always moving around, i find that the gripper strips are worn out. are there any replacements for the strips or i have to replace the mats. my mats are still in good condition and does not seem needs replacement

Hi Bro,

I can see that only my 3M car mats have the gripper strips and i notice all the other brands that I have used before does not have any.

Maybe can call the 3M Dealer and ask them how much and where to get the gripper strips ??

I think those customized car mat should be able to prevent the moving around problem. Cos' fit to size of the car model.

Thus, I think maybe it will be more worthwhile to go those selling car mat shops can customize to fit to your car model.

mine is 3m customised, still come with the gripper. 3A mats also come with it

Try using those non-slip mats, like those placed on dashboard to prevent things moving around.

Now supermart also sell in big roll, cut about same size as the car mat and place underneath the car mat.

I used non slip mat only, use contact adhesive to stick it on full length of car mat.

 

if still cannot, there are carpet mounting points below seats, use wire hook to secure carpet so it will not slip off.

will sticking the carmat prevents you from removing it and dusting the dust off the mat.

Glue the non slip mat with the car mat, not onto the car.
