really depends on how you drive and maintain cars with turbo.

if you whack your ride or goes to track, then whichever turbo ride will also have seals leaking, shaft play etc

regular engine maintenance with good synthetic oil is very important. This is the ultimate turbo killer.

Overboosting with adjustments/modification other than standard, you can expect some seals, oil, gas, leaks and early failure.

60k is really too soon.. assuming the owner religiously follow svc intervals

Maintenance is especially important for Turbo cars esp. turbos using ball bearings cause they are less tolerant to debris in the oil. Companies like Borg Warner, Garrett, Mitsubishi, IHI all make very good Turbos. AFAIK, many WRC teams are using IHI Turbos.

I whack and floor the pedal all the time for over a year......golly hope no hidden damage done so far [bigcry]

IT doesn't matter. unless you are running at max boost for continously for hours, then your turbo may overheat and up lorry.

Flooring the pedal will cause wheel spins for you? at 155bhp only, i think you better check your tyres :p
