You'd need to ask KX, but from what I understand, weekend should be ok, no need to call prior just walk in can liow.

Those pet shop ones selling pets are different, (right smack in front of you when you arrive at Farmway 1.) can go and look see,

carry a bit, but the cats are for sale.) cattery one, just walk in.

just checking..the cattery at Farmway 1 can just walk in and visit? Thinking of taking CO there to play with the cats as she loves cats.

It may not be open all hours as the volunteers may not be there but I would think during the weekends, there should be more volunteers. I went on a weekday and was lucky there were people around.

As usual, ask the volunteers for permission. They will prob be okay to let you in to interact with them.

A little warning: There are many many cats in the big enclosures, more than 30 and almost all will be clamouring for your attention as the volunteers are so busy with chores they may not have sufficient time to interact with them. If your wife is not comfortable with many many cats swarming her ankles rubbing and begging for affection, suggest she just look from outside and until she has mustered the required courage, then go in. [;)]

Their claws are sharp so if she is afraid of some unintentional scratches from the over-exuberent cats, suggestion will be long pants but it will be hot so need to balance somewhat.

Put some antiseptic wet wipes in the car. The cattery does not have running water; they use collected rain water and may not have enough since the water is used for washing and the cats' drinking water.

Go pang jio before going. I am not sure if there is a toilet there. :D

Pasir Ris Farmway 1. Drive all the way to the end and you will come to a T junction. Turn right and it's the first entrance on the left. Think you can see the word "Ericsson". Drive all the way in. The catteries are on both sites but are run by different volunteer groups.

If you want, you can bring a big bag of food there. Or old towels, old scratching posts, flea shampoo you no longer require. They are quite self sufficient but I guess every bit helps.

That cattery also has some mongrel dogs so if your friends are interested to adopt a cat/dog, can also consider.

I almost adopted a female cat there. [laugh]

Based on size and looking beyond the fluffiness, I estimate 1.5kg max at this point of time. [laugh] Some cats don't look their weight at all. Like my youngest. Look small small skinny skinny but she is a hefty 4.2kg. Gained 1.4kg in 2 months.

Yeah, just got off the line with the breeder in NZ, he's 1.3-1.4kgs now. Two months only.

I'll beef him up when he comes in. [laugh] [laugh]

Ok. Managed to get some pics of the screen during an afternoon in on the weekend. The right pic is actually with the screen fully lowered to the end of the window (not till the floor)
