You know how I found out?

At Jakarta airport.

I was offered Limo service, something like Innova RP180k. Altis RP200k. Camry, RP220k. E-class RP300k.

So I asked my friend how come Altis's fare is more ex than Innova?

My friend was puzzle with my question and answered, of course lah. Altis is more ex than Innova and more comfortable.

Most expensive Innova is RP280mil and cheapest Altis 1.8 is RP330mil. RP50mil is about S$8000.

going by the sales of the number of Toyota Wish 1.8L and Toyota Picnic 2.0L,

 

i don't see why the Toyota Innova and Unser cannot sell very well here....

easily overtaking the sales of the Wish and Picnic....

Singapore's tax regime will erode any price advantage that it originally has in its intended markets.

 

The Avanza is already $123k here, which is barely cheaper than the Wish. The Innova may well be more expensive.
