gorgeous hatch to launch in Europe. not sure if coming to Singapore yet.

Chevrolet has revealed the first photographs of a new hatchback version of the Cruze.

It will be unveiled at the Paris motor show at the end of this month, and the five-door car will join the existing four-door saloon in Chevrolet showrooms in the middle of next year.

Although the two models look similar, the hatchback stands out from the saloon with its coupe-like roofline.

The range of engines and trims will mirror that of the saloon, although the new hatchback will be launched with Euro V-compliant engines, which will find their way into the saloon in due course.

Exact details of the car and its specifications will be confirmed nearer its on-sale date, so there is no confirmation of whether every detail of the show car

Looks like Subaru Impreza leh...

Btw, this model is designed by Holden.

However, this model will wear the Chevrolet badge instead for the global market.

But domestic wise, it will be the holden badge.

Holden is the subsidiary of GM [laugh] [laugh]

the Cruze is sold as Chevrolet, Holden, Daewoo???

It's GM's global model.. of course market in as many places as possible.

Oh I was wrong about the Korea part. Only the design originated from Daewoo. The rest of the car is from GM.

they add turbo is to meet CO2 emissions in Europe....

especially when the upcoming Euro 5 and 6 emission kicks in....

European countries like U.K & France love Hatch. They are especially good in the narrow city street or B roads.

Hope the hatch come to Singapore. It will certainly be popular if our version comes with turbo.

Seem like the trend is to downsized engine and add turbo plus 6-speed auto.

and pay an arm and a leg with insurance premiums (turbo=more $$). And petrol bills too [bigcry]
