Tick tick sound from my car! please advice thanks thanks!

just now after i park my car in the carpark

i can hear this tick tick sound coming out from my car

not say very loud , not say very soft

its just go tick tick tick tick tick

so my question is very simple...

any1 encounter before?

isnt anything serious?

or just some cooling off sound so nothing to worry about?

fyl my car is about a year old and 1st time i hearing this noise...

I believe the sound is coming from the exhaust manifold/header which is contracting after the engine is switched off.

judging from the time u just got back home, u can see that the temp difference between ur hot manifold and ambience temp. Its normal dude, the sound is the same if u were to pour cold water over ur manifold when hot

No problem just cooling down after a hard run especially at night. Just monitor.

Ya i got that kind of sound from my car too. At first i thought is weird. Is just the contracting. Just relax.
