中國駐菲律賓 大使館發表聲明，強烈譴責馬尼拉 人質事件兇手的棺木，被蓋上菲律賓國旗。

 

中國駐菲大使館的聲明，譴責這名兇手的殘酷行為，並對此「令人惱怒」的行為表達「強烈憤慨」。

 

聲明說，只有英雄以及人格高尚者才有資格在辭世後覆旗，此舉玷污了菲律賓國旗。

 

菲律賓總統府和外交部表示，菲律賓贊同中國大使館的觀點。菲外交部稱，門多薩棺木蓋上國旗，不符合相關法例。而這是門多薩家人的私人行為。

 

根據當地電視台的畫面，門多薩的靈柩蓋上國旗，遺體並穿上警員制服，放了門多薩生前所獲的獎狀。

As reported in today ST, one of the senior police officer with the base ball cap was not supposed to be there and he was there directing the stomp.
