dual sound to cater to pinoys here...cos their tagalog is more high class than hokkien? wtf

thats one of the sad things i notice in sg.... got dual sound in hindi, jap, korean, some other funny language...

but no local dialect....

sadly, half of them dun have chance to watch unless its on a sunday........

and they seems to be having a huge presence in singapore already...

i was at a sale today... 30% of the ppl are pinoy.... either they are sale crazy or just alot of them in singapore

Becos so far no one influential and prominent enough dare to stand up and point out that the "no dialect" rule, like the 2-child rule, is already outdated and need to be revoked!!

I only knew what I was missing when I caught the taiwanese drama on malaysian cable (sat?) TV. Wah, very refreshing and very genuine to hear them scold each other in taiwanese hokkien [laugh]

It's proof that other chinese dialects are no lesser than mandarin, and in fact, can be used even in the modern context. Dialect also have business terminology, technical terminology, etc. - nothing is lacking.

What is wrong with more pinoys? The girls are easy to pick up and have "fun" with. [bounce1]

hopefully we can learn some pickup lines for the show then...

or how to push the right "buttons"
