Cloudywind Neutral Newbie August 31, 2010 Share August 31, 2010 hi bros, i'm looking for some tips from the regular autoglym users... I just started on the resin and gloss protection. It seems like I need to use quite a generous application of those resin and gloss protection. Is that the same for you too? Appreciate any helpful tips on these products. Cheers. just use abit will do. i'm using those cheapo wireless polisher, and i'll just use abt a 20c coin size portion for each panel. if u apply thinly, the srp is easy to buff off not sure abt the extra gloss though, nvr try bef ↡ Advertisement

Vtec78 Neutral Newbie October 25, 2010 Share October 25, 2010 the trick is apply juz a thin amount, let it set for few min, wipe off. if u are getting powdery when wiping off, it means u apply too much. this is the same as spray painting. many thin layers will have better result than 1 thick layer. if wiping off is abit diff, try using QD. but if u apply a thin layer, it will come off easily. Jefferyl Neutral Newbie January 17, 2011 Share January 17, 2011 I always liked SRP since it is much easier to apply and buff off but the downside is that it doesn't last very long. At most 1-1.5 weeks? function wise, it is really good. My car looks really shiny after using it
