A couple of vehicles with MID plates pull up at your camp at 3am. Inside are a bunch of 2-3 crabs and a star. They demand to be let inside camp so as to do suprise inspection on the armskote.

 

What will you do?

2- Just call ur DO or BOS, they settle, u r just a 3SG.

 

But never let them in on ur own accord, thats ur fault liao..

They are testing your courage. Tell your grauds to challenge them and hold them outside the gate. Got crab so what.....

 

This is what I done last time when being approach by some MINDEF so call SIB to check the camp. I told them to wait outside and ask them for a contact number to call MINDEF to double check if they are for real. Same time call DO.

 

After making sure everything is ok, I let them in and they congrat me for being firm and do not allow anyone to enter camp even the visitors are in full uniform ........

Yeah. What an epic screw up our neighbours did. Luckily those terrorists gave themselves away by playing with their stolen weapons so near to a town. Talk about dumb and dumber

If DO kuku, call Mindef Ops Centre.

SOP, SOP, SOP. Its everything. As long as you follow SOP, you are quite safe.

 

Turn out the guards and put them on alert. You might even impress the crabs. Do not open the gate at any time. You are the GC, no one can 'demand' to be let inside the gate.

Ask for identification. Check the identification. Tell them nicely they will have to wait until you get a clearance from higher authorities.

Call Ops room and inform BOS or DO. The is another duty officer above DO, normally held by Captain or WOs. Cannot remember wat it is called.

Wait for further instructions.

I started this thread because of the [Al-Mu'Unah] incident.

 

Not only did those imposters get into camp, they had the armskote opened and drove off with a stash of weapons without anyone stopping them. How is this possible?

dunno abt army....last time airforce has a pass that entitle the person to enter all bases without escort and announcement.....very rare think only chief of rsaf and few others has it.....anyway just ask the crabs and stars to park one side and ask for their mindef passes to verify their ID and contact DO loh....they f*** you just bring out your standing orders and taiji back to camp commander
