My only advice: A lot of illiterate people 'hiking' on the only mountain bike trail. Try not to kill them..

In some places, the biking trail and jogging trail seems to coincide and there are no clear markers. Joggers need to watch out for bikes barelling down slopes and likewise, bikers need to take care when speeding down slopes as well.

I was there last year, for the first time.....parked my car at Bukit timah.

Went on the trail, totally enjoyed it. I thought it was a 'round trip' so just kept on cycling as long as I followed a track.

KNN...after two hours....came out from a different part of Singapore. Totally stunt and tired. Lucky I got money on me. Locked the bike and took the taxi to my car. The taxi driver must be mad at my muddy backside and smelly body. Haa haa.

wow....the park ranger is not working?? or it just become an unspoken norm already ?? [shakehead][shakehead]

Just be careful of the illiterate or 'blind' people who can't read..

Otherwise, the bike trail is nice..

Why would any1 carry bike lock on a trail ride? :D

It was a very thin spiral wire type of 3-numbers lock.

I always tie it around the seat post after unlocking.

Same thing as why any1 would carry money, housekeys, carkeys on a trail ride.

I guess I am not professional rider and doesnt really feel the need to lighten myself to maximise my speed and timings?

Hope I answered your mystery.
