Mini-itx Clutched August 24, 2010 Share August 24, 2010 Is it too thick for lancer? He mentioned its turbocharged. Thus thicker oil is necessary. Unlike NA engines, clearances in TC engines are higher to accomodate expansion (more heat from TC engines). Also need to lubricate and cool the Turbo unit as well. Thus cannot be too thin.
