YOG, so much $$$marketing, Give way lane, road closure, fan-fare, full-house spectators, grandest ceremony, advertising, all the hoo-ha....but very little is known about the products, that is our local sports guys, or how much effort support are given to them???i dun even want to start on the volunteers.

from the flash news on CNA, our boys & girls are like being pwned one by one, like noobs ganna headshot in online games......i shake my head, no eye see.

The YOG is not about Singapore wining medals only.

The YOG is international competitions. The best men wins. Too bad our youth are not the best men yet.

SG organized the YOG not to purely want to win medals, but to be able to organize a world events is important as how other world sees our countries, trust our ability to organize it, and is beneficial to our economies in the near future.

i beg to differ in some points

Singapore already ranking alot top in the world ,major papers, media around the world always mentioned us...

even this never got to notice, can i know how pple knew us by this event?some said their major paper/news never mention us at all or does their tv broadcast?i dont know...

and also...u telling me pple from simi ulu countiries what tell thier friends come here etc etc..any differences?

even our neighbour countries or others, coming here to work also hard, what makes think other can come back to benefit Singapore so easily??

pour $$ in our Economy??who is our top trading partner, etc etc?very obvious answers..or ulu countries??

i dont see big picture 50-100 years from now but i see realistic picture..haha
