Xefera 6th Gear August 13, 2010 Share August 13, 2010 Taken from Augustman.com Cool idea, it would be great if manual cars can be retrofitted also. do away with heel toe braking :) LINK ↡ Advertisement
Fullmetalalchemist Neutral Newbie August 13, 2010 Share August 13, 2010 Cool!! But think that we might get used to it after awhile. For auto cars, driving will be a breeze and especially during traffic jams, this design comes in very handy!

The_Bear Turbocharged August 14, 2010 Share August 14, 2010 Cool!! But think that we might get used to it after awhile. For auto cars, driving will be a breeze and especially during traffic jams, this design comes in very handy! I was thinking if we can drive a real car with a Playstation controller? Actually thats all its needed. Except the signal stalk....
Thedream 3rd Gear August 15, 2010 Share August 15, 2010 it's to push right with your right foot to accelerate. I think it uses a whole different set of muscles which would be difficult to control and quite tiring!
Coupecabriolet Clutched August 15, 2010 Share August 15, 2010 I was thinking if we can drive a real car with a Playstation controller? Actually thats all its needed. Except the signal stalk.... this also not bad leh.
5936 1st Gear August 15, 2010 Share August 15, 2010 Have you seen the steering wheels of F1 cars drivers pop in after they got into their seats? No nuts, just electronic contacts. Drive by wire.
Nf0rc3r 1st Gear August 15, 2010 Share August 15, 2010 Happened to me once.. wanted to hit the brakes but hit the accelerator instead. Dunno what happened cos never done that before. Its probably some neural / brain mulfunction like deja vu or Involunteery muscle reactions. lol.. luckily i clutched in so never move lol..
The_Bear Turbocharged August 15, 2010 Share August 15, 2010 this also not bad leh. who are you gonna shoot?
Kelloggs 1st Gear August 15, 2010 Share August 15, 2010 it seems more dangerous to me to have this single pedal it's to push right with your right foot to accelerate. I think it uses a whole different set of muscles which would be difficult to control and quite tiring!
Shull Turbocharged August 15, 2010 Share August 15, 2010 Let's make life easier..since Auto tranny is so common, why don't teach everyone how to use left foot braking and making it the norm?

Opel17 6th Gear August 17, 2010 Share August 17, 2010 Would appreciate some test-driving, especially long distances to evaluate (good in theory) Imagine those chiongsters on the NSH for 4-5 hrs, pedal to metal driving, that means the right foot/leg have to be "twisted" to push the acc lever sideway max. When they get out of their rides, all the right leg surely will wobble Anyone can try at their office desk, put their right leg like driving position, and right foot push the table to the right, hold there for 1 hr. ↡ Advertisement
