Good bros, can you recommend a good maintenance and tuning shop that specializes in Audi? Just got a used A4 cab and it's got several years on it and beside Premium will only give an appointment soonest in a week's time. Don't mind paying a bit extra for good and reliable shop service. Thanks for your help!

i'm servicing with them..quite good. and the prices are competitive. my 120K servicing comes to 400. i brought my own oil so it is slightly more expensive.

they outsource to a small company for portsdown service centre. other service centre i do not know as i don't send my car to those service centre. they have just recently close down the portsdown centre and the contractor shifted to DEFU lane 1

if you want i can send you the contact #. they are quite good in servicing my car.

Er just wondering, at 120K, was not the timing belt included? Do not risk timing belt failure by dragging beyond the specified KM. even if it is less than the specified KM but more than 5 years old, I will change it. My friend's car, low mileage, just broke its timing belt ended up with a dead engine. So be careful and dont risk this.

Timing chain is supposed to be more lasting/robust than timing belt.

How long can a typical timing chain last? Has anyone seen a snapped timing chain before (operated under normal driving condition)?

Just curious, why aren't all cars fitted with timing chain rather than belt? Is there any reason behind?
