Too much money dude.

Lets do the math,

2x GT-RS = $4500

Installation of turbo = $800

6x 1000cc = $1500

Fuel Pump = $400

New map sensor ECU = $1500

New boost controller = $600

Retune + installation = $1000

Clutch = $2500

Installation +gearbox rebuild = $1500

Adjustable Camgears = $500

Thats about 15k worth for... a reliable 400awkw+ car. IF I didnt have a mortgage, I will do it. But unfortunately I do... :(

Lol, oh yeah 33s can't go nistune can they?

I'm actually fairly happy with how my car is driving now, with my -5s they're a bit laggy but i just think i need a tune... And maybe a new fuel pump and 660cc injectors.... and an electronic boost controller..

from strudel's list.. i already have...

2x GT-RS = $4500 - 2860-5s

Installation of turbo = $800 - installed

Clutch = $2500 - 0s giken str2

Adjustable Camgears = $500 - some silly hks ones

but what i really need are, new wheels.

here's a picture of my 21 year old skyline

actually staggered offset and widths is fine leh, its the rolling diameter that affects the attessa comp.

Its not fine unless you print money. You cannot rotate your tyres!

Skyline for drifting :huh:

Dude sounds like you've mixed up the Skyline and Silvias. Also, this is a GTR, its meant for the track.

Alvin might think otherwise but to me, Supras are dyno queens and maybe for drags. They really stand out on the track. I still think they're a nice car though.

I could possibly get another car but not when I'm stuck with a mortgage now. Too bad for me.

My neighbour down the street just got himself a blue RX-7, damn that car is nice. :wub:

Yea they are a nice car but only the FD appeals to me. Always got a soft spot for them but the fuel consumption kinda turns me off.

And the "famous" twin-turbo rotary engine, maintenance would be a nightmare. JSA Melbourne is selling it for 37k, not cheap either.

Maintenance is just like any other car I reckon if you've got a good one. They're not as unreliable as what everyone thinks. Everyone thinks a GTR cost a lot to maintain as well but its not. However, the fuel consumption of the FD is a fact. I know 3 FD owners and all told me full tank is around 300km. Thats a 75L tank too.

37k is very high for a FD. The only FD that is worth that much is the Spirit R, the limited edition FD with 1500 built. For that price it will also be low Ks (below 80,000km) too.
