So after reading the articles in the Straits Times about the rent car scheme.I was wondering if the pool of car owners got proper documentation from TTS regarding the car rental scheme.Without proper insurance declaration and coverage,in accident case where total lost is reported,who is liable to the claim?If the car is rented out for a year,will the car condition be as good as when being handed over? With failing to comply with the LTA regulations,will the rented vehicles be returned back to the owners if TTS failed to provide good explaination to the group of owners.Think it will be sad if they have to pay for 2 vehicles instalments when the market demand for the vehicle is not so good.So what is good about the carrot being offered?Will it benefit the old car owners or TTS or the sales market?Wondering will the resale of the brand be good after the news is reported. [:)]

yr explanation is damm good.... i totally support it....

 

thats why ppl say its very hard to do biz in SG... we are too regulated and market is too small.

 

anything you wan to do, garment sure wan to get involved.

no wonder TTS has so many models for rent, some of which are totally unrelated like odyssey!

 

Have you seen their Sin Ming showroom? Its like a clutter-house. So many cars outside and around it.

What is so wrong to lend out a car if the insurance can covers any assigned drivers?

My AXA insurance says I can let any driver to drive my car.

these owners deserve it!

they should have sell away the old car first before buying another.

 

If low price is a big factor for their exitsing car, they shouldnt have opt to buy a new or another car.

They should have driven the old car till the end of the COE.

 

Dont have such a big head, dont wear such a big hat!

Apparently,

 

it's 3 salesmen that came up with this idea and not TTS themselves in a bid to boost sales....

 

read today's ST....

 

and they've been sacked....

these are just the scapegoat.

how could the management dont know that such practise is going on in their own premises?

without someone approval, u think the 3 guy will dare to do this type of stunt?

 

Ya, maybe sake the current car rental company and re-instate another company with the same bunch of monkey
