Hmmm. catering by Singapore Food Industries... very fishy. Recalled an incident fews yrs back. SAF food was awarded to Singapore Food Industries for $5/head. Thats a very good profit margin. YOG blow 387mln. How much goes to Singapore Food Industries? $10/head? Edited August 12, 2010 by AFV_V200

Fondue Neutral Newbie August 12, 2010 Share August 12, 2010 (edited) GPGT !! Today's Lunch at location xx for the supporting staff .... and the other ingredients within (almost all) , with reference to a bean sprout, the lower left is a strand of carrot, and 2 generous slices of hotdog to the right But apparenty, the drinks are good and free-flow !! Understand that not all location have the same food, some are better , but this is really sad . Feel really bad for the supporting staff Edited August 12, 2010 by Fondue

Ironstarz 1st Gear August 12, 2010 Share August 12, 2010 Different place have different food. Initially YOG had food from Old Chang Kee catering , after sometime we changed another catering service. And yes this our standard lunch. Rice , Kong Bao Chicken , Cauliflower and broccoli and egg with chopped long beans. IMHO i find it decent enough, better than going to buy own meal. Good no good you decide P.S i have been involved in YOG for more than 1 month plus already

Tianmo Hypersonic August 12, 2010 Share August 12, 2010 like I mention b4, i guess SFI can not handle this mass, a big part mayb outsource out, therefore different pl get different food. those lucky 1 get the food from main-con, so better food, those not so lucky 1 get the food from sub-con..................main-con want $$$, sub-con want profit, how to get good food? really hope the top ppl from YOG is looking at this....................... IMHO, tho the food is far better than so call "dog food", and acceptable in my standard, the food in some areas look under par, good thing is free flow of drinks, that is at least something. BTW, are the volunteers given snack beside the main meal? like tea break or light snacks?
