"pong sai gao" is a literal translation for poodle - commonly used to refer to people with big hairdos like afros or the "albert einstein" style

This is based on a real gang poem, but I'm guessing that they could not use the real one in the show, so they replaced it with "pong sai gao". Same with a lot of the other gang songs throughout this show.

not sure leh... i know that the show was banned in Singapore but my frd managed to buy a copy over Amazon. The most interesting thing was that when the package was delivered to his house, it had a note that said the DVD had been inspected by BoFC and it had a sticker stuck to it too.... strange cos it was passed uncencored.

 

it's a good show as the film depicts another part of our society. All the teen actors are real life gangsters.... unfortunately, a couple of them disappeared before the film was completed
