Simpleman 1st Gear August 18, 2011 Share August 18, 2011 I've similar wear/tear defects. Mine's coming to 6yrs. door rubbers - use double sided tape to keep the seals in place. quite effective. air-con vent spews black sponge - aircon ain't broke, no action needed wiper water spray - think there's a leak somewhere, have not fully investigated. roof lining frayed - got it replaced at 8 cushion. I've gone to VAGSG workshop at 48 Toh Guan Rd East, #04-123 and spoken with Mr Chan. Feel that this is a good alternative to the other established Skoda workshops. Simpleman 1st Gear August 19, 2011 Share August 19, 2011 Regular consumable parts shouldn't be a prob. Door seals gotta indent, I was told. I also need to replace the rear mudflaps.

Bedrock Neutral Newbie September 5, 2011 Share September 5, 2011 Hi everyone, My lao pak chia octavia sent to Aldan for servicing. Here is my story to share. I went to Xinzhong and purchased the water pump, fan, timing belts, seals, fuel filters...80k major servicing. Proceed to Aldan to get em fixed. Service was gd, Daniel assured that if the things i bought would not b used he would ask me go back XZ to refund them. Ok service was gd, charges wise not exp and also not cheap BUT recepit list down the things that are done and replaced and of course the price he charged for the items done/fixed. And it seems that all parts i had bought were replaced. Overall, not bad. But my problem with the suspension still not fix. Is there any one who would recommend me a place to buy 2nd hand coilovers? It seems that the aftermarket bilstein coilovers i bought last time was not compatible. And had caused many problems. Sadzz man.

King 1st Gear September 13, 2012 Share September 13, 2012 anyone got address and contact pls? Okie Guys, I hear you all, I have replied bro Tashi via PM this morning only to discover that I can only send out 1 PM a day!! gosh.. so inorder not to complicate things, carry on reading Since Alan from Aldan had left to join another establishment, I have not gone back to Aldan for servicing, so I'm surprised that the service standard has dropped. After losing their cash cow, I would have thought, they would instead improve their service standards as now they need their regular customers more than ever. Anyway, here's the contact. Alan, formerly from Aldan, has joined Tan Chong's parallel car import servicing workshop Autoclinic. His workshop is located in the same building as Toa Payoh Nissan service centre in Lorong 8 (next to the Subaru showroom) Drive through the main gate and inform the guard that you are going to Autoclinic. Once the barrier is raised, drive straight thru. Autoclinic is located at the back of the building. For those of you who had your cars serviced under Alan, you would know that he is meticulous with the cars that come into his workshop. They now have a specialist mechanic from Japan doing continentals but he's specifically trained to service VAG supercars. (I leave it to you to discover his expertise)... Good thing is if you do not have time during the weekday to send your car down, you can call him and set an appointment for the evenings. His workshop is open till 10pm by appointment only. When you are there, mention that the Gold Superb recommended him. He'll know who... Address : Toa Payoh lorong 8 Nissan Service centre. (next to Subaru showroom) I'm gonna try out another workshop recently opened by some of the Vagsg forummers in Toh Guan. Need to rectify a "Boost Pressure regulation: range not reached" VCDS code 16683. [bigcry] Will let you know of my experience.

Echelon 3rd Gear June 17, 2013 Author Share June 17, 2013 Hi All, I guess I should have updated, Daniel is a straight up guy who fought the good fight, after chemo it was tough, but still always on the ball. When I had issues and called him, he would settle for me. His son has taken over if I am not wrong and if their service there is good, same spirit and heart. So do support if you have some issues with your ride. RIP Daniel. We will all remember you. ↡ Advertisement
