The link you sent is referring to AHG, which is on top and over the 30k we're referring to. There's no income cap on the first 30k which a citizen is entitled to on his/her first HDB purchase.

 

do check again. there is a income gap for 30K grant unless we are refering to the different thing.

BTO totally no 30K or 40K grant. the only grant they have is low income grant for those below 5K a month.
