all it needs now is to change the front grill and logo, and it will transformed to Mitsuwaja.

Looks quite nice actually :) Now I know how to get a cheaper Lancer EX! Buy a waja, debadge and put on Mitsu logo :)

Hmmm...lancer become waja.........waja back to lancer........I am sure someone will do that when it goes on sale in Malaysia.

Will there be evolution version? Even if don't have, expect new wave of Wajalution from Truly Asia. Don't play play ok.

It would be better if proton make the front and rear different from Lancer, just like the difference between WIRA and Lancer. Otherwise, both will look really similar and of course, proton will lack of its own styling character.

The current EX owners..LPPL..what a letdown decision by Mitsubishi Japan...now people will buy the cheaper waja and swop badges. Luckily the GLX is saved from such bad decision making

i'm not expecting the Waja to be Kia Forte 2.0SX reasonably priced....

seriously singaporeans are so superficial that if a lancer ex costs 100k and a carbon copy proton costs only 50k

ppl will still buy the lancer ex

 

i doubt it will hurt miti's sales

especially the 2.0L models....

 

cos Waja's 1.8L 140bhp will be mated to a 5AT....not CVT....

 

 

plus,

 

EVO wannabe's would definitely want to get the cheapest alternative.....

 

and if the Waja price is attractive,

 

the Lancer EX sales is bound to be affected....
