Those were the days where TV-watching was the main form of family entertainment.

 

You are right bro. I remember at that time I happened to visit my aunt, she was the first in the family to have a vcr and they could spend the whole day 7am to way past midnight watching The Bund. So I visited and they practically had a whole pot of hard boiled eggs dipped in soy sauce for breakfast lunch and dinner!!! OMG.....har har har!

浮生六劫 one of the true classic too....starring Lesile Cheung

 

I vaguely remember President Sheares passed away the same year when 浮生六劫 was telecast in Singapore.

I had that too. I still had it until a couple of years ago...decided to throw it away. Should have kept it.

 

 

This toy is a classic that every kid wanted then and so proud to have one.....Just like having a PSP nowaday.....haha

Ya emotional. It was a time when watching TV is a family bonding time. Everybody will stop what they are doing and sit together in the living room. Also commentary on how evil the bad guy is was not consider rude then. Nowadays, everybody watch their own program in their room and any outside commentary is not tolerated.
