1980 - 大內群英

Still distinctly remember the scene when they grabbed the emperor's will and changed 'fourteenth ah ge' to 'fourth ah ge', changing the line of succession. Classic!

Qing Gong Chang Mong or something like dat, I was just about 6-7 years old.

Weakling Emperor, Wong Dai . . . . bumped into the actor at a restuarant and my mom and aunties went berserk! [hur]

Thanks.. That's a great help.. Finally found the song that's singing in my head for many years and yet do not know the title.

Yeah... And the head-cutting discs (xie3 di1 zi3) flying around to get rid of those who disobeyed the imperial order.

Every imperial guard carry one as a standard weapon in those shows.

Not just every imperial guard. As a kid, I also carried one plastic version of it.. But it doesn't work.

Pestered my mum to buy me the "Yuan Yue Wan Dao" and only get to slice my fingers when I flick it open. [bigcry]

Lucky got no "Xue Di Zi" if not there'll be lots of headless chickens running around [laugh]

Hey uncle, I think you are slightly more senior than me. [laugh]

I vaguely remember there was a Taiwanese kungfu show in the 70s called "保镖".

I was a small kid back then and couldn't quite understand the content. The telecast was stopped halfway right? Appreciate if someone could help to fill this piece of information.
