Yuan 6th Gear July 30, 2010 Share July 30, 2010 IMDEMTISU 5/40 my car is quite old...high mileage, suprisingly it is not eating any EO it is just sluggish when it hits 6k mark shell is 5k When you say your car is quite old, I presume that it should be more than 3 years and the mileage should be more than 75k....I think the 5W40 should be fine to use and Imdemtisu is quite alright. Have you sent your car down to workshop for checking?

Quirky_ster Clutched July 30, 2010 Share July 30, 2010 When my car was 4yrs old at 120K KM, I did a top overhaul. The amount of sludge and dirt that sits on the piston, valves, intake are just unbelievable.. Did that and you will your engine will be good as new... my FC improve by 1 notch and no heavy feeling even after 15K. me using Voltronics EO 5/40. and my ride was Opel Astra.
