  1. 1. Does the J-Eyes also serve as red light camera besides its surveillance purpose (traffic congestion)

    • Beware! They also serve as red light camera on top of general surveillance
      20
    • They are just surveillance CCTV meant to spot and rectify causes of traffic congestion

When I kenah accident. I got a call from TP, telling me if I can shift my car

I ask him how he know, and was told he used J-eye.

Very strangely, I thought it was for traffic management by LTA.

So TP muscled they way in to control these cams too.

They also use that for accident investigation.

Say if kana accident when I crossed a traffic light when it was changing from amber to red, no injury to any party.

Normally traffic police will not be involved in insurance claim if no body injured right ?

However if they determine via J-eye that I was at fault, will they send me a ticket and then inform the insurance ?

Or will the insurance company ask the TP for J-eye footage ?

Nothing is absolute good or bad. If the footage helps someone in some way for a traffic-related matter, I bet the opinion from that someone would be favourable.

WTF, i thought they have to declare cameras as red light cameras and put up warning signs slightly before reaching the cams themselves ???

Red light cameras are meant for preventing accidents and not a revenue generator for the TP/LTA.

Why Not if this can fatten the coffer, if not how to get paid salary in millions per year.....

So if kana accident at junction then can write in to LTA or TP to view the vid?

Only if you're elite or got connections.

Otherwise you get your hands on it also not considered admissable in court and you will be charged extra.
