Wbucket Clutched July 30, 2010 Share July 30, 2010 Not really bro, what I'm looking for is something like UPS . . . to supply power to my polisher. (Porter Cable 110V) Charge it at home via AC outlet and use it on the go. Saw one set at a DIY shop but only 12V thia. Can use those convertors, can also be found at DIY stores, to convert 12v DC to 220v or 110v AC. Think most "portable power source" are more geared toward car usage. Thus usually 12V. Anyway, these UPS are just rechargeable batteries with all the invertors built in. You can build 1 yourself too. Check out this webby, lots of DIY ideas. http://www.instructables.com/index ↡ Advertisement
