Itsec 2nd Gear July 28, 2010 Share July 28, 2010 (edited) i almost hooted this.. but end up i sold this pulley.. nthing wrong with this pulley.. just like others.. but this has an advantage... it has damping just like my stock pulley... pros.. i dont need to mention... however, downside is... the aluminum will 'melt' after long hours of tracking... and u have great difficulty remove it....(i dont track.. but it turns me off) the rubber will become hardened and drops off... u have to check every 5k.. furthermore, it might cause pre-mature wear to the belt.... C32b Neutral Newbie August 6, 2010 Share August 6, 2010 The crank pulley is also weighted as a harmonic dampener to balance crankshaft vibrations. Changing that weight balance has negative aftereffects. Search for Dinan or online for various sources for a technical explanation on why you may want to avoid this modification. ↡ Advertisement
