i can close that flap also..but its more of to silent what i hear from my ears... easiest method for me is to press your nose and suck in air through ur mouth with very wide jaw movement...

hey i got that skill too. my skill also includes waking up and realizing its just a dream, then i can faster go back to sleep and go back into that dream and continue the story to how i would have liked it to end. of course if its a nightmare i will faster go pao hot milo wash face b4 going back to sleep else surely will end up in the same nightmare.

cos no one seemed to understand what it means.

 

i can control a flap in my inner ear,

 

by muscle control.

i can choose to close or to open the flap

 

 

open: i hear more background noise.... thus mixing and interrupting with the intended voice/sound i wish to pay attention to.

 

closed: i can cancel 90% the background noise and thus the foreground, (eg: speaking to another person, TV), becomes very clear.

 

 

any1 got similar skills?

you reminded me. I can store and vary my farting power. Power is measured by loudness and also the vibration felt when i am sitting on a bench for instance.
