How long do you travel on car each day (average)?

But now currently im carpooling with my frens so my mileage wont go up too fast.

I guess we all have diff definitions of far and high mileage.

 

To me, a car is a car. serves its purpose on bringing you from A to B to C to D faster den walking bus or MRT. even though sometimes when you're stuck in a jam, public transport seems much faster.l

 

Its e convenience.

 

My distance a day varies. I can clock up to 200km a day if i run here and there, or i can clock 10km a day. 10km is to school and back (: 200km a day is school , go out, and drives with my group of friends who love to drive around.

depend lah. like my case. if i drive. its 10km from home. can reach in 8 min if traffic condition is empty.

but if i take Public transport. i will need 1 hour to reach in clear traffic. so which will you take??

 

Actually if less than 10km you would be a prime candidate to CYCLE to work, which should take only around 20 minutes.

 

What would be needed to entice you out of your car and onto a bike for your commute...think about things like..

a) shower and lockers at workplace

b) dedicated cycle lane

c) Good place to lock bicycle

 

Or is this totally not an option for you no matter what?

Desk bound so home - off - home around 30km a day. But make up the mileage at least once a month on NSH.

I am office based and > 100km per day. Got to send 3 kids to 3 different schools and wife to work and back.

 

I have driven like 170K km in 4 years!

 

Really make good use of the car and luckily no problem so far with it.
