Accident in Carpark

TS no need to show any photo la, yr story should goes like this...i was driving slowly looking for a parking lot and the car behind me tried to overtake me and bang into me.

Dear members, for your information, the lancer female driver already filed a false accident report. She drew a diagram which is a totally different scene and she claimed that my Latio car had bang into her Lancer car in her accident report. I believe all members should have right to know the truth. This Lancer driver reversed to my car in high speed while my car was stationary. After this happened, she did admitted her Lancer car had bang to my Latio car due to blind spot and she can't see my car while she was reversing. She even said "Do you know what is blind spot? Blind spot cannot be seen one!". I have drived for 10 years and never see a driver who do wrongly because of her carelessness and yet still come down from the car and scold the victim loudly. During the whole argument, I am the only one who calmed down and did not raise up my voice, she as a careless driver did not admit her fault yet filed a false accident report, which is not fair to me. Her Husband even try to beat me during that time. I initially wanted to forgive her because she was pregnant during that time and there were kids in the lancer car and I could understand pregnant lady may have mood strings sometimes but this is too much when I saw the false report and the post she had put for this accident in this forum.

 

Whoever were at the scence and witnessed above case, please stand up to be our witness to let this lady know that it was her fault. I will not give up and try my best to let everyone know the facts for this accident. The person who filed a false report will be caught sooner or later.

I feel if as to avoid accident, you should not drive forward and wait. If you are already drive forward, you can reverse bit to avoid accident. As your 10 years experience, you would know it.

Beside, from the photos, minor damages, just pay for your own repairs and move on.Is it even necessary to make reports ?

 

IMHO, 50/50 case and both are in the wrong ...... why even bother to play with words, finger pointing etc. Life is short, shake your hands, make peace and move on ........

Story as I posted. How dare you post such lies? I was the SECOND car to pass you after you finished parking. The car on your right stopped because I signalled my intention to park already. They were waiting for me, not you! If you did not see/did not know because you were occupied with other stuff and not paying attention, it doesn't mean it did not happen.

 

Photos already show your direction and you were coming from a swee swee position in the lot. I am not going to argue with you again over the facts of the accident. It was exactly due to the inability to agree over the facts that we referred the matter to the insurers to settle.

 

I did not know my hubby gave you his particulars instead of mine as he was the one talking to you afterwards. Anyway it does not matter because in the accident report, my particulars are furnished as driver. You can check if you want. We have nothing to hide.

 

Photos were not given to u because when we made the report, we were told it doesn't matter who gives the photos because it does not give any advantage to any side. All reports and photos will be submitted and judged as a whole. So we were advised that it is not necessary to pass you the photos.

 

I never knew what you wrote in your accident report until now. Now after seeing what you've posted, I only see a whole bunch of lies. But workshop told me it's normal that you will surely make up your own story to show you are not at fault. However I am honestly shocked at the extent that you lie, to the point that you can claim my hubby tried to beat you up.

 

All I know is that my insurance company made a payout of $174 or $184 to your insurance company in August last year. If you are not satisfied with your insurer's decision, you are welcome to take this to the court. I am more than willing to testify under oath.

 

You have our contact number, so you should have no difficulty in contacting us should you really be keen to dispute anything further.

I did not assume the facts of the incident as I did proper checks for oncoming traffic and ensure it was clear to reverse before I proceeded to do so. If I assumed anything, it was to assume a just nicely-parked car would stay parked in it's lot after two cars had passed it.

 

I did check if there are security cameras that captured the incident. Too bad there aren't. My post here was to look for the driver of the car waiting behind me, on your right, who witnessed everything as it happened. I didn't make effort to find witnesses to prove my story? Don't assume.

 

And pls don't use the word "intimidate" as it is a very perceptive word. I can also say i feel intimidated by Tom because he is taller than me.

 

I have no more interest in continuing this discussion with you here as I've already said what there is to say months ago. As I said, if I wanted to lie there are much better ways to lie. You are free to continue telling your lies or prove your points to forummers if u want.

You are claiming that you did not aware I request for your NRIC. Lie again, let me recall your memory, I actually came in front of you in the food court just after the accident happened and request for your NRIC and I was rejected and you still said you do not know? (Again, the food court has more witnesses to prove this)

 

Are you sure your husband did not raise his hand and tried to hit me and also scold vulgar language at me? My wife wanted to report to police when she saw your husband raise his hand and move near to me at that time. And your husband put down his hand after hearing my wife saying she want to report to police and after a while then apologizes to me for his rash actions. And I accepted his apology after that. It was your false accident report and inaccurate information in this forum that forced me to bring up this issue again. Miss, please face the truth and stop lying; else you will have trouble to fill the loopholes of your lies later on.

Pointless to talk and argue about it here... One will never admit that him/her is at fault.

Just my 2 cents worth, Since you guys already reported to your respective insurance company. Let them handle it.

Should any of you guys feel that you are not happy with the verdict, can always bring it to court and let the judge handle the situation.

I remember that we met again later at the food court and you came to ask my hubby to email you the accident. I do not remember u asking for my NRIC, at least not in front of me. My hubby exchanged particulars with you earlier at the carpark. If u had wanted my NRIC no, I would've given you.

 

My hubby never raised his hand at you at all okay. The cheek of you to say that. Ur wife said she wanted to call the police not because he was threatening you as you alleged but because she said he was scolding vulgar language at you. Which he did apologise and said it was because of your wife later on. Don't anyhow add ingredients to the story. You think I will be so stupid as to stand there and watch if he is going to do something like that? It's not worth it.

 

Photos were submitted with the report of course. Go and check la. U think I am so stupid as to post in public if I did not submit? How come you don't have ur own photos? I saw you taking pics with ur camera phone what. Ur wife can still ask you to "pai xia Lai" rite?

 

Believe it or not, I don't have a copy of the report. Everything was passed to workshop and lawyer. If u have it then post lor.

 

C'mon la u really know how to twist the story, leave out certain things and add others to result in a totally different story of what actually happened. You state the story as if i was stopped at your left for nothing while you slowly came out of your lot to adjust parking. As if I was reverse parking at high speed from a mile away? The other end of the carpark maybe? In reality i switched to reverse gear the moment i stopped, as any normal driver will do, not stopped there to dally with hazard lights on. But nvm, it is never expected for both sides to have the same account. Now I fully understand what ppl have been telling me about the ability of the other party to twist story to his favour. And you have the cheek of accusing me of making a false report. Photos tell all. How far you were out of your lot, angle of vehicles & point of contact. What is questionable.

 

Theres a reason why we left it to independent authorities to settle. So if u are not happy with their decision then there's no one preventing you from taking further action with them.

Cannot believe that the claim is 4 figures for the Lancer based on the photo posted. I was thinking a couple of hundreds spent and move on. I was terribly wrong.

 

I learnt something today.... never to look at stuff on the surface only.
