Eh, no real patience for videos. Got a quick gist of it somewhere?

Is it "whoops lol we made a mistake"

or

"screw you I don't give a crap what you say I'm right and you're wrong"

Edit:

Ooooooh. That's nice.

If you grab it tight, the bar will drop. It is not unique to Apple but to the smartphone industry.

He demo BB9700, HTC and Omnia II. All shows drop in signal.

I just tested my E51 and W905. E51 no drop but W905 drop from 5 bars to 4 bars.

Anyone with HTC, Samsung and BB could test and confirm Jobs's claim is valid?

I'm currently using HP iPAQ and you don't even need to grip the phone (only in your pocket) there is no signal.

So to all those who whine about it, stop complaining, at least you have some signal...

Yes, Jobs says that. If you still not happy, can return the phone within 4 weeks, even after you received the casing.

and booo to Apple..instead of solving the problem at the source, they decided it's better do just continue using a stop-gap measure..

Not all Desire drop signal bars, not all Omnia drop signal bars, just as not all iPhone 4 drop signal bars.

I have iPhone 3GS and Blackberry Storm, both of them drop one to four signal bars after being grabbed for 30 seconds or so, depending on the location (signal strength I guess). Thank god I have yet to experience dropped call so far (unlike my old Sony Ericsson...), and I am on Singtel btw.

As much as you boys feeling the need to hit out at Apple while it is going through a PR crisis, I actually feel that what Apple has offered (namely Free Bumper or 3rd party cases, refund for Bumper, refund for returned iPhone 4 without restocking fee, termination of AT&T contract without penalty) is creating a benchmark that will bring long term headache to other handset makers.

Because when it comes to software or hardware issues, no phone is excused, just a matter of how many of any given model is affected, now imagine users of these brands/models demanding the makers do what Apple has done [:p]

Could be a plot to topple apple.

People realy expects Perfection when it comes to apple products!

Anyway, it's a small issues that some scotch tape can easily cure, or just get a case.

What the hell, 6 more days for ipad launch in singaore right? I sure want to get my ipad next Friday!

And when iphone4 comes, I also want to get it.

Both are great products that is worth it to get no matter what bad news!
