What are the options?

1. Cancel current coverage, renew 1 year with same/new insurer?

2. Only can extend insurance with current insurer?

Overlooked this...should have gotten a 9 months insurance first right?

Thanks

Ya lor...

I used to have 50% but it was under my father's name.

After I change the car, I decided to reg under my name and start from 0.

This is my first year and extend dont even have the benefits of the 10% NCB for 4 months.

Being screwed by the system.....

Road Tax expired in April, Insurance in June.

So insurance extend to Oct?

Yes, insurance extend to Oct, so that you can renew your road tax to october.

Then in October, you can buy new insurance, and road tax for full year.

Note - Insurance extension, you can only go back to your current insurer

For my case, I sent to Sin Ming LTA to extend my road tax to match my insurance instead. My insurance agent told me cant be done but I did it anyway and he

Anyway mine was for a difference of 1 month and I told the officer that not fair for my insurance NCD to be held back.
