ok, i now travel from AMK , taking the Lornie Road -- Farrer Road -- AYE --- Tanjong Pager (the MSCP at the NTUC there)

Reason being no need to take CTE due to erp (pay and jam), and keep hearing accidents on this stretch. Other than that, any other alternative to beat the 1 - 1.5 hr drive, with speeds of up to 40kph max? [laugh]

Lornie Road, Exit into PIE, Exit Stevens Road, go straight all the way and bypass, Ion Orchard, Great world City, SGH and you should reach tanjong pagar.

which part does the accident always happened?? if at lornie rd than I think you got no other choice....cause lornie rd probably is the road you definitely need to pass by before you have alternative to consider....

no offense bro I used to drive from CCK to Raffles Place... takes me an hour plus too everyday im thinking if i should take KJE PIE AYE or KJE BKE PIE Stevens .... paid like mad the ERP plus the season parking charges... now i decided to take the train - reduces my stress of driving plus get to work at a shorter time. The drive home is just as bad... those at Chulia Street will know how bad the jam is in front of boat quay...

so unless u are in sales or have to fetch ur kid to a nearby childcare like I used to have to do, i'll opt for the train. hee

AMK- Lornie - Farrer - Bukit Merah(Cross Alexandra Ikea) - SGH - Tanjong Pagar

That would be my route.

Alternatively, can turn at Queensway towards Alexandra Hospital, all the way down to PSA then Pasir Panjang, then Tanjong Pagar.

Both got no ERP at all.
