Worst Car Parks design in Singapore

This is not abt car park design but more abt the car park lot:

The carpark at Bukit Merah Central (The one near the KFC) the car park lots are damn "squeezy". Its like there are 3 parking lots in between 2 pillars and if you park beside the pillar, the passenger cannot get out (door will hit pillar and no space to get out) and if got car in the middle lot, the driver also will have some difficulty getting out..need to open the door slowly or 99% will kena the beside car..Dunno who was the "generous" guy who designed the lot size...

I thought all MSCP same design with pillar beside the lot, and the passenger or driver cannot get out if parked beside the pillar?! [rolleyes]

I believe these are designed for those who do not reverse park only. Otherwise its design flaw. [laugh]

Has to be a design flaw cos most of the cars that park there still reverse park [laugh].

And there was once this big mpv tried parking into a few lots but cannot cos both sides too close to the cars parked beside.. then the driver went round and round in search of the "Big" lot but dunno if she succeeded.. I doubt she did [laugh]

True but most carparks have a bigger lot to ensure that both sides can get out with sufficient space..Been to harbour front SC carpark before? The lots are F@rking big.. must be designed by one with a big heart [laugh]

valet? would u trust every valet's driving skills if the car park design is challenging?....i would rather bang my own car than let a valet bang it. [:p]

i believe most valets are professional enough to be responsible for damages~ its tough for me to find a decent lot to fit also~ anyway i dont like wasting time searching for a lot~ [;)]

Some carparks they position the pillar in such a way that you can still open the doors. They put the pillar further forward so when you reverse in the pillar is beside your bonnet rather than your door.

I find majority of the MSCP is design such a way that the pillar is position just besides your door. So far i seldom find MSCP pillar is position foward at the bonnet area. That is why i wondering how come they need to design the pillar in such a postion? Or the designer didnt think before they design the carpark?
