Worst Car Parks design in Singapore

Anyone went to Quayside or nearby? I remember this CP had many pillars wrapped around a turning point, at one point it is impossible to complete a turn without reversing and adjusting....

Neutral Newbie

Tried it - in a Cabstar lorry no less, after a challenge from my uncle who swore I wouldn't get past the first sharp turn! [laugh] I noticed the colourful sides and managed not to add another streak of paint onto it, although I had to crawl at snail's pace and reverse a little during the sharp turns.

By the way there are also outdoor visitor lots; I would advise visitors to park at those if available unless your car is small or your skill is really good. Most of the other carparks mentioned here and elsewhere have nothing on Pandan Valley at all!

Outdoor visitor lots usually full, coz no one wants to park at top MSCP, top of MSCP lots are 99% empty, unless those who wants to challenge their skill against the design.

If you notice there are a number of tuition centers there, and all mums send their kids there will refuse to park in MSCP. Almost all are driving MPVs

i already mentioned pandan valley on my 1st post here. the rest of the CP compared to pandan valley is chicken feet lah [laugh] [laugh]

totally man... and I reckon I responded to your first posting....

There's 2 horror among horror car parks

1) Pandan Valley - anyone who drives within its compounds with ease has potential to be the next drift king.... Anyone who's been there before would definately agree with me... the rest of the carparks are simply chicken feet as mentioned [knife]

2) Yangtze - the slope up and down is almost freaking 45 degrees... even normal saloon cars will kena bua when they go in and out - ouch!!

Oh OK. Strangely on the two occasions I was there the outdoor lots were plentiful.

I can understand anyone's reluctance to drive into the MSCP with an MPV [laugh]

Another bad design car park is the Plaza Sing car park. You have to gamble whether to go higher for a car park lots or praying that there are indeed car park lot in that level otherwise u have to turn all the way down to the exit and enter again to go higher up for empty car park lot. Therefore must observe carefully whether that level and below has a car park lot for you to park.

if no lots then wait lo

y need to go all the way down

then up again.
