Huge Jam @ PIE towards BKE

saw PIE have huge jam that really stretch back a few KM...i detour to another road to bypass the jam...looks really bad jam...anyone know wat happened?

I was caught in there too. I exited Serene Centre at 10pm and was caught in the jam trying to enter the PIE from Adam Road entrance. Tried to exit Eng Neo, no luck. It looked all jammed up too. Finally exited from the Bt Timah plaza exit, and guess what, the entire Bt Timah road stretch was jammed too. I detoured into Hillview and exited past Dairy Farm, and finally it was clear. Time I reached destination at Woodlands - 11.05pm!

bukit batok road opp autobacs,

upp bkt timah road alone hume condo/ old ford factory

roads are jammed due to road works

 

i was travelling opp upp bkt timah and when going back home,

i purposely detour to PIE then back to KJE

I was caught up there too. Entering the slip road into BKE was crazy, so I continued onwards and exited at Bukit Timah, only to find out that it was jammed there too! Finally went into Dairy Farm road and managed to reach home at Bukit Panjang.

 

Dun know what caused the jam at PIE going to BKE but I saw a fairly large column of military trucks occupying one lane. Wonder whether it might be the cause of it.

IMO They should also warn motorists of the routes to avoid when these military convoys are returning to camp.

 

Take note of the dates when they having rehearsals. Avoid going to town during these dates. Other dan Bukit Timah Rd, PIE & BKE to avoid, any other major xpressways are affected too?

It is ok to miss the 1st goal, even a 3 years old kid can score in that position. Uruguay 2nd goal is fantastic, hope u did not miss that too.

Thanks for the link. I caught it in the highlights after the game.

 

Reached home at the 18-min mark of the game. Quite an achievement considering that I got stuck at PIE, turned out at Adam Road and got stuck again from Courts Upp Bkt Timah all the way to Hillview junction.

 

I thought it was some major breakdown/accident but it's a bit frustrating to find out that it's due to planned activities. Could the jams have been averted? Well I don't really know ...

That is quite an easy goal to score as it is open but u cannot say a 3yrs old can score it cause i doubt any honduras strikers can score it, if u really watch the whole 90min match of honduras against swizerland,so many open chances,they........ make my blood boil,haha...

The jam was caused by the slow moving army vehicles, thereby other public heavy vehicles used the other lanes? Causing the expressway to jam? No accident also can jam so jialat?

Something is wrong somewhere.
