I am using Germitrol, air filter with UV. 7 years already, just change UV lamp in May.

 

There are many options at Autob_cs,

Saw new compact air purifier made by Meier air purifier.

 

I think this is good. When the UV lamp in my present unit fused, I will get this Meier unit.

 

At half the size of my Germitrol, and with additinal filteration stages. Got UV lamp, ionizer, filters+++

 

$50+ at autob_cs. It comes with LED indicator light.

i don trust purifiers less than $100, ionizer maybe but not purifiers.

The 7 year old Germitrol air puriifier bought from Air research

 

Meier Uber Drive Air Purifier

 

Nature Glory's Air Purifier

 

I paid $250+ for the Germitrol and that time only found this.

Now found Uberdrive, $50+

 

For UV based purifier, the consumable is the UV lamp. I paid for a replacement lamp module for $40+. That's almost enough to buy a Uberdrive.

 

I am seriously consider buying a Uberdrive for my car, and take out exisitng germitrol for desktop use.
