Why LTA so stubborn??

For years, since COE started open bidding via online, the price only start moving aggressively during last 15-30 min. The bidding exercise always starts from Mon noon. Isn;t it a waste of system resource. Why can't just start the bidding on Wed 10am and close at 4pm??

To regulate traffic volume and prevent system or server jam bah. Ppl will kpkb their submissions did not get thru and things like that. Happened before. They called it "technical glitch", ppl comprain can't get thru online, end up COE price very low and very few ppl got their COE.

people can't complain not enough time to submit bidding.

Same thing why people beg IRAS for extra days to submit their returns after 15April each year.

Same thing why students always say not enough time to study for the examinations each year.

Same thing why super long queue at CPF office on the very last day to be eligible for the FREE $$$ from gov(economy recovery package, GST rebates,etc)

 

Human are expert at expanding the ample free time till the very last minute and complain its not enough and not fair!
