Zhihao 1st Gear June 20, 2010 Share June 20, 2010 Hi guys... i'm considering between the Kumho KU31 and v12. both reviews looks great (with v12 topping and kumho still within top ranks) but the kumho is really cheap... for 195/55/15 kumho ranges between 80-90 bucks and v12 is about $104... any advice which i should go for? thks ↡ Advertisement
Limiter Neutral Newbie June 20, 2010 Share June 20, 2010 IMO choose other types of tyre. Both sucks in wet grip.
Domh Neutral Newbie June 20, 2010 Share June 20, 2010 Hmmmm Hankook V12 sucks in the wet???? Well i've tried v12 before and i find it quite good be it wet or dry, plus it's quiet. Only thing i didn't like is the softer sidewall.
Deividz 5th Gear June 20, 2010 Share June 20, 2010 IMO choose other types of tyre. Both sucks in wet grip. http://www.tyretest.com/pkw_sommerreifen/k...ku31/index.html KU31 wet grip is IMHO is good. I think the main problem is the tyre wears out very fast. IMHO, not safe to use it more than 30k.

Zhihao 1st Gear June 20, 2010 Author Share June 20, 2010 hmm... i'm surprised... cause based on the reviews i see (eg: auto bild) v12 performs exceptionally well... in fact very good in wet.

Sturtles 6th Gear June 20, 2010 Share June 20, 2010 Hi Bro, I am using the V12 now, on 225 width. Amazingly, there is no increase in noise below 100kph, but have not tried above that yet wet and dry drip is better than stock tire, and comfort is even better than stock. Road feel is like stock, which is not very good, but how many can tell the difference. What tires are you on currently?
Limiter Neutral Newbie June 20, 2010 Share June 20, 2010 One man's man is another man's poison. For me i dun scrimp on tyres n brakes as they are e most critical safety aspect. I only consider among UHP tyre. For excellent dry grip and good wet grip, i suggest T1R or Revspec RS-02.
Hamburger Hypersonic June 20, 2010 Share June 20, 2010 IMO choose other types of tyre. Both sucks in wet grip. u tried them b4?? Or did u break their traction b4 in e wet???i really doubt ur opinions......
