Sirex Neutral Newbie June 20, 2010 Share June 20, 2010 I bought it brand new back in '01 around 99k. GDI engine is a flop IMHO . One of the major fault unknown to people is it "eats" engine oil . I am lucky to discover it early after 8 months of ownership as I engine oil level dipping drastically though no sign of oil leak on my car porch! Went for overhaul and sold the car afterrmath . Just sharing my experience.
