Ender Hypersonic July 28, 2010 Share July 28, 2010 I like both Texas and Popeye. Texas has better biscuit, which more close to a butter scone.
Yuan 6th Gear July 29, 2010 Share July 29, 2010 Had tried Popeye at AMK. In my opinion, I would go for KFC better. Have not tried Texas yet. Might attempt one day.

Berncsp76 6th Gear August 10, 2010 Author Share August 10, 2010 I did know there is texas fried chicken in s'pore. only one outlet? United Square opened 2 weeks ago on 28 Jul... Saw their ads on bus already...IMO they are better than Kentucky and Sailorman. Only hope they priced it lower to attract more customers or offer discount coupons to generate awareness. Got FB page too...http://www.facebook.com/texas.chicken.singapore?v=wall http://www.texaschicken.com.sg/

Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear August 30, 2010 Share August 30, 2010 Extract from Sunday Times, 13 June. Fans of Texas Fried Chicken, which was here in the late 1980's, can rejoice. The chain relaunched with an outlet at the Singapore Expo on Wednesday, 9 June. Take a bite of the Original or Spicy Fried Chicken ($7.40 for a two piece combo) or the Mexicana Burger - a sandwich of chicken fillet, cheese onion and nachos ($7.40 for a combo). http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/sin...1036612/1/.html Can't wait to go this week to try! I also wan my A&W back here!!! Anything to do with deep-fried food and colon cancer?

Zxcvb Turbocharged August 31, 2010 Share August 31, 2010 How good the chicken taste highly depends on how long is the chicken sitting at the tray waiting to be served. KFC is good only when the chicken is served quickly right after it's out of the frying pan, before the oil cools and settled on the meat & skin. If display on the tray for too long, the chicken will turn cold, hard and not crispy. They should do it like MOS Burger style, made to order. I dun mind waiting, but dun give me cold fries or chicken.
