According to the wiki article, it is near the junction of AMK Ave 1 and Upp Thomson Road? I guess it should be along the canal above Pierce Sec Sch?

Btw, why is Sembawang Hills in AMK??

That small wooden bridge has long been taken down (about 30 years ago). There was a small "settlement" or attap huts and stalls that ran off the main road (from where the current temple is situated) to about 30 metres away from the current AMK Ave 1 junction.

In the old days, there wasn't any storm drains...... I guess that is the main stream that is being referred to. The Bishan park was all wooded and forested area. The current Sin Ming Ave was a small lane that ended about 500m inside whereby there was a pig farm. (which had a PAP kindergarten neaby that I attended)

Sembawang Hills is not in AMK if you notice preperly. At the junction of YCK, it used to be called Sembawang Hills Estate Park. Along Old Upper thomson Road where there is now large Semi-Ds or Terraces (near the prata shop), there used to be a school called Sembawang Hills Estate School.......

Ah.... all these brings back childhood memories....

The more commonsense and accepted theory is that some ang mo engineer had built a kio in the area. I find this semi ghost story more romantic though. [;)]
