Don't think of those least significant mod as they are not helpful at all. Maybe you list out them all can comment whether gd or not !!! If you want fc might be quite minimum, what's yrs now ? About mod must know yr budget (with this there is no ending to mod ) & preference, low (power/ torque), mid, high end (speed). Type of exhaust will have significant changes to yr ride and not only for sound bec it might have adverse effect on yr low end. Melvyn Neutral Newbie June 13, 2010 Share June 13, 2010 sorri to hijack this thread but wat r the ways to increase low n mid torque? 1) Keep your stock airbox is a good start. 7 out of 10 times ppl change to stuff like open pod, SRI etc without even knowing what the hell it does and what is affected. 2) Tuning your ECU. Carmakers program their rides with lots of buffer. A good tune should regain some lost power. Generally, leaning out your a/f mix gives power. riching protects engine. 3) Review your 4 stroke cycle. Within are always ways to improve torque / horsepower depending on whether your car is auto or manual. 4 stroke meaning the intake, compression, combustion and exhaust strokes. So wanna improve performance? Can increase compression rate. Can let your combustion be better via better plugs, can let your exhuast flow free-er with aftermarket system. Can polish your intake manifold. Can upsize your throttle body etc etc. But think the best tip is still to join your particular car makes forum and talk to the ppl there to learn more for your ride. Iliketodrive Neutral Newbie June 14, 2010 Share June 14, 2010 who ever tell u to do this, u can tell him go n die better. all those custom extractor = sux the only gd ectractor r those by big co, they do lot of R&D. but not all r gd haa. u must see any1 install or not, than see their dyno graph. custom for NA confirm waste $. side plant is vvvv noisy 1, tp sure stop u. all these cant get better fc. latio fc is btw 13-15? it very gd for auto + 1.5L. my ex 1.6 lancer auto , 10km/L only.
