Why Everyone Prefers Male Bosses - What's Your View

I reckon its a very biased clout.

 

It takes a big heart to accept that women bosses can be just as capable as men are. Especially so when MCF is a male dominated environment (just like most corporate entities out there).

Of course, there're black sheeps periodically here and there.

 

Personally, I have worked with capable and approachable women bosses. It depends on how you perceive things but the sad truth is that many men will disparage women, just because their egos cannot take it that deep down, they know they can't perform better than their women counterparts.

I believe not everyone is a born leader, regardless male or female.

 

Believe it or not the reason why ppl prefer a guy to be the boss or leader goes way back into the evolution of the human species . Human beings are social creatures. They form groups, teams to hunt. The most dominant/strongest perhaps most intelligent male will often lead the team/group.

 

Hence what ppl wants to see is strength and perhaps wisdom in their leader and in this case the boss. Man are often perceived as the more dominant or stronger between the male & female species. This already exist or imprinted in ppl's mindset whether they like it or not. That also explains why even women prefer a man to be the boss rather dan a woman be the boss. The way we are brought up is exactly the same. Our father is seen as the dominant role and provider for the family while our mothers have the supportive role as the care giver. That's how or what made us look at things the way they are.

 

Now that our society are slowly evolving and women are given more chance to take on the boss/leader role, ppl have a hard time adjusting to the change. And they are starting to live in denial and starting to pick bones in an egg and bad mouthing women. Just like what some ppl are doing here.

 

Sometimes not every male or female is the perfect leader or boss but somebody have to play the role. They are just there at the wrong place and the wrong time until someone better takes over their role.

I bow to the person who issues my pay-check. I can accept male or female boss. Bad mood, accept. Tell me to do this do that, accept. So long nothing illegal or against human moral values, can accept.

Wrong...for me, it's not about capability or ego. I have no doubt that some women are capable. But they all have three flaws which make them bad bosses because bosses is also about people management

 

1) Mood swings and can't handle pressure. panicky and jumpy over small things.

2) Because of their panicky nature, they go into unnecessary details which is a big waste of time.

3) They tend to micro-manage.

 

The above 3 flaws make women bad bosses because it leads to poor people management, poor motivator and poor productivity,

women bosses tend to get very emotional.if u make a slight mistake,they bear a grudge against u then u hong kan liao.bonus also can fly even when u have performed the entire year and that the mistake u made was on 31st Dec.siow! if u unlucky,the next year also u jia lat.everything also petty like fxxk! when it comes to promotion,the minor mistake u made previously becomes the highlight of the promotion interview.then why bother to consider my promotion! sometimes i wonder if she never made a mistake.u have women bosses and your entire dept becomes a robot!

 

men bosses are however rather calm and collected.u make mistake and they reprimand u there and then.the matter ends there.

exactly my sentiments, like what mentioned in my post....they can't handle pressure and goes jumpy over small things.

 

Whenever I was called up for interview in the past, the first thing I ask is always....my reporting superior is girl or guy?. If girl...I straight away say no thanks even if the pay is good.

wah, i can attest to that!!! im working under lady boss... EVERYTHING is by the book.
