Yuan 6th Gear July 16, 2010 Share July 16, 2010 I don't think spark plugs are universal. They are specific for certain car models and makes.
Ichibawa 5th Gear July 16, 2010 Share July 16, 2010 I don't think spark plugs are universal. They are specific for certain car models and makes. Bro Yuan is correct, the heat range differs.
Panhard 1st Gear July 16, 2010 Share July 16, 2010 whats most important is the heat range & gap setting. for this you must check with original spec... so its not how the spark plug looks or cost. even stock plugs can perform too if correct spec... of cos if you have extra cash to spend then no harm! Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear August 15, 2010 Share August 15, 2010 Anyone has any experiences on this Denso Platinum TT? Saw it just now at MX tradings, google it and found http://www.densott.com/ might try it when my spark plugs is due. If cheaper copper electrode spark plugs can be used for commuting 50,000km, why bother to pay more? If your car not in order, why bother to pay for more expensive spark plugs? Drive with full tank to KL and back still got fuel for about 100+km left Edited August 21, 2010 by Good-Carbuyer

Normal copper plugs can last more than 10k km. Mine reaching 30k km very soon, will change it out next servicing and check how is the condition. In fact, my car service guideline by C&C stated copper plugs change every 40k km.
