hopefully the new Kia K5 would have ventilative (heating and cooling) seats too (probably on their SX model)....

Hyundai and Kia already have these features on their i45 and K5 and above sedans....

Ha,...I more interested in K7 ^_^ ...

For petrol head, it is definitely IL-6 or turbo IL-6.

For 2L block, get a proper 2L block rather than a detuned 2L block. I have always praise BMW IL-4 juz looking at their WTCC results. What's the point of getting 318 other than the badge?

Don't think TS cares about these based on the pros and cons listed, so a 318 "debadged" will be good enough... so many debadged 3-series anyway... can't tell [rolleyes]

If change exhaust to twin pipes even better, ppl may think it is 325 too [:p]

honestly speaking....

teanas, accords and camrys are much more comfy than my w204

only they cant run. everytime i pass on a bump owww

erh,

the C-Class doesn't compete with the cars you mentioned above....

that's the job of the E-Class....

your C-Class (small-sedan) is theoretically a class below them (mid-sized sedan)....

totally different point in both cars....

your C-Class build to handle and perform,

E-Class, Teana's, Camry, Accord all for comfortable cruising....

C180 CGI is currently selling at $154,888 net, with $4,000 overtrade. If no car to trade in, have to pay the net price. This advice was given by C&C SE last sat.

The quoted I gotten is with $6k overtrade + $4k servicing credit.

the C180CGI from C&C costs $163,888 - $9,000 = $154,888 nett with $4,000 servicing credits (5yrs)

C200CGI costs $178,888 - $5,000 = $173,888 nett with $4,000 servicing credits (5yrs)....

huh??? are you sure all the 3-Series we have here are made in South Africa???

i thought only the 318i and 320i....

cos they have totally different engines from the Euro models....

our 318i has 136bhp and 320i 156bhp....

but those in the European countries are getting 145bhp for the 318i and 170bhp for the 320i....

the rest of the models have the same output though....

All sedans of 3 series except 318...made in south africa...all 3 series coupe made in Germany..

seems like most people are not bothered about their 3-series being made in South Africa....

as long as nothing cocks up, i guess the product has the same quality....

They are bothered but there's not much alternative..

sounds like Toyota...

savings not passed on to the consumer even though using cheaper production facility.

But then for the blue propellor badge, I think many including myself can still accept it... lol :p

Rosslyn Plant Export program has been there since E46 3 series (pls correct me). It covers whole asia excluding China & India. Even Japan 3 series are sourced from South Africa. If 1 is willing to pay & wait, PML can indent from Munich/Regenberg.

http://www.bmwarchiv.de/werke/ are the list of BMW plant globally. It does not include countries which has CKD/SKD assembly.
