it not that its lousy, but i come across wrong turns and u-turns that dont exist... but maybe cause LTA keep changing...

anyways i'm comparing it to a Garmin... never used anything else before (for my own useage)... maybe just that Garmin is better...

maybe many others are worse than Marbella... ^_^

Ive been using many models of the Garmin till recently I bought a Marbella.

But the Marbella do hv some good points.

seriously speaking, Singapore needs a SOLID gps meh?

to me, it's only serve as emergency..

but, I like to find fault in most device that I bought..there are definately a lot of things that Marbella needs to improve on...likewise, when I use a Garmin, I also have a lot to complain about...guess, it will just be a matter of getting use to how to use it...

well dude, if you're constantly on the roads up north like myself, battling the NKVE, MRR2 and the newly opened strangely named road linking Shah Alam and Bukit Rimau in Selangor, you DO need a solid navigation system.

in the singaporean context though, its mainly for ppl to light up their car cabins at night.

i thought of getting the Aigo GPS though. the whole "sell at Esso" thing is slowly breaking my resolve to not succumb to petrol kiosk electronics.

haha cheers. ;)

i kw...paisay, i shd have type more to say that the good quality and constant forum map updates are regarding garmin. marbella 660 price is super cheap now though! but seems battery life still short and i think poi wise and routes, i still prefer ones from msm.

i also need my current gps for bluetooth to coupled with my handphone so that i can ans phone calls

It's ok to expose your device to the sun during your 3 hours journey. Such devices are made to withstand even higher temperature. I have driven longer distances than KL with my device exposed to the hot weather and have not had any problem.
