Its the same with digital cameras that has digital zoom feature which I also disabled. Its using interpolation to zoom in on an object.

Hi All,

I am not sure whether i am correct. Its just like stretching the image or video to be display in a bigger screen / LCD. I believe by doing so, you could see squarish pixel. Same when you use those normal camera to take a picture of yourself. Then you print it e.g A3 size. You can see pixelation. Please correct me if i am wrong. :D

Due to recent enquiries on the DVR models found on dealextreme (DX).

DVR Security Xuite will be providing an EXCLUSIVE service to mcf members.

For all latest model found on www.dealextreme.com pricing scheme will be as follows:

1. $10 DISCOUNT OFF dealextreme price for all LATEST models (3 weeks old: Reference from the snapshot below, dated 31th of July 2011) Price will be calculated based PayPal's conversion rate.

E.g. DX price 90USD, PayPal conversion rate 1.267. Total price in SGD 90x1.267 - $10 DISCOUNT = $104.03

2. EXACT pricing for models which are more than 3 weeks old (unless otherwise stated upon confirmation due to many models with similar outlook but difference in lens/firmware/chip used).

A good example will be Blackview offered by DX which the firmware is v1.0, the quality is very poor due to old firmware. Ours are the lastest firmware 1.1 with better video quality.

E.g. DX price 90USD, PayPal conversion rate 1.267. Total price in SGD 90x1.267 = $114.03

Model posted date can be found at the end of DX product description.

NO HIDDEN COST! Simply PM me the DX link and conversion will be calculate using the latest PayPal rate and ENJOY $10 OFF for the latest model.

Warranty scheme will be the same as DX warranty policy.

Simply return me the defective set and i will ship it back for replacement.

BRAND NEW replacement set will be given back to you. All items come with MINIMUM 3 month warranty, even if DX offer lower. Otherwise it will be same as DX 1 year manufacturer warranty.

Due to non-popular request, NO DISCOUNT will be given for old models.

In cases where extra stock for the selected model have been sold out, restock will usually come in within 5 working days after confirmation on order. NO NEED to wait 2-3 weeks as compared to direct purchase from DX.

Hi All,

For those who has already reserved GSE580 + 16GB SDHC Class 10 unit from me, i need to informed you all that the shipment got delayed. DOD told me that i need to wait for the queue in packing department, however they told me that by this week it will be out. So cross finger, nextweek i should have received it.

Normally DOD required 7-10 working days before the shipment send out. However I will try to keep stock here, after learning this lesson.

Have you place you order ?

it is safe to order online plus the hassle?

example: if unit is not working, won't it be very troublesome to send it back?

Not sure if i want to order online or buy from local, no doubt more expensive but with a peace of mind?

its a risk you have to consider.
